The Mirror – A Reflection

When we look into a mirror we see a reflection of ourselves.

When we look into a mirror we see our Self looking at a reflection.

The Self sees the mirror and the reflection in the mirror.

The one looking is not the reflection in the mirror.

The one looking has no history. 

It is the reflection that has a history.

When we look at our body we see the vehicle not the Looker.

The Looker is not the body, or the mind or the personality.

The body, mind and personality are reflections.

The Looker is pure existence.

The Looker is in every sentient being.

The Looker does not need eyes.

The Looker is the Mirror and not the reflection.

The Looker is the Self.

When the personality disappears through spiritual practice, then there is no one to identify with except the Self. The reflection in the Mirror disappears. There is only the Seer
